LIHEAP is a Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program that helps to keep families safe and healthy through initiatives that assist with energy costs. LIHEAP is a seasonal program that assist with heating and cooling costs. Please note that all services are provided by appointment only.
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is available to all income-eligible households in Fulton County only.
LIHEAP Cooling
We will open the appointment scheduler on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. for Seniors 65+ ONLY. Scheduling for the general population (all ages) will start Friday, May 1, 2026 @ 11:00 A.M.
Our service hours are 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. We are closed for lunch from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. We will continue to take applications by appointment until funds are exhausted or July 2026.

What To Bring To Your Appointment
Please bring copies of all required documents to your scheduled appointment if you choose to complete your application in-person.
- Current electric bill (Must show your name, full address, account number, and amount due.)
- Proof of income for the last 30 days for all household members over 18 years old. Any household member with No Income must complete a zero-income form during the appointment.
- Social Security cards for ALL household members
- Valid Photo ID (Driver’s License, Permanent Resident Card, Passport, etc.)
If someone is representing an applicant, they must provide a copy of their state ID and a signed letter from the applicant granting the representative permission to sign on their behalf.
Please arrive early for your appointment and have all documents photocopied.
Documents cannot be on your phone.
